Long Day Plant - Lettuce
Long day plants fall under photoperiodism. Photoperiodism is the reaction of plants to the length of day or night. Long day plants require fewer than a certain number of hours of darkness in each 24-hour period to induce flowing. Lettuce is an example of a long day plant.
