Class Expectations

Our goal is to create an environment where all students are able to learn. We can accomplish this by adhering to the following principle: Our classroom is a place of mutual respect. This means, specifically
  • respect for each other
  • respect for our surroundings
  • respect for the learning process

Daily Concerns

  • I expect you to be in your seat, ready to learn, when the bell rings. All tardies and absences will be carefully documented. All school policies regarding attendance and appropriate behavior apply.
  • Be prepared with your binder, homework, and calculator every day.
  • No food, drinks other than water, cell phones, or other devices are to be visible in class, unless otherwise directed for learning purposes.
  • Please try to use the lavatory between classes; passes will be given in class as needed.
  • Please raise your hand to respond or comment in class.

  • Your grade will be based on classwork, homework, formal assessments, labs, and projects according to WWP policies.
  • It is your responsibility to keep up with assignments and to make up work missed due to an absence.
  • I am available to help you most days after school. You are expected to take responsibility for your own learning and to seek out help should it be needed.

Please let me me know if you have any concerns or if I can help you with something. I believe that we are partners working together to ensure your mathematical success.
