If you’ve read Wicked by Gregory Maguire, you may enjoy this SIMILAR book.

DESCRIBE this book in one short sentence:  satirical and humorous look at gender differences and double standards.

What GRABBED you (or didn’t) about this book:  it didn’t take fantasy too seriously; oddly, no chapter breaks, which makes it hard to know when to stop reading!

RATE this book from 1 to 5, 5 being the best rating:  average out of 5 raters, about 3.5

Those of us (3) who liked the book liked it because it didn’t take itself too seriously and it was very humorous.  The one of us who didn’t like it said the writing was hackneyed and cheesy.  All in all, a fun, irreverent romp that skewers our ideas about magic, wizardry and gender differences.  The third in Pratchett’s discworld series, it introduces the character of Granny Weatherwax.
