APUS is not mandatory for your graduation.  Why did you choose to take this class as oppposed to AS II Honors or College Prep?
Do you think this was a wise choice?  Why or why not?
  Explain

What are your goals in this class.  In other words what do you hope to achieve or learn?  Please do not write I want an A or a  5 on the AP Exam.  Give some thought to this question.

What do you expect from me as your teacher?

What are you willing to commit to the class?

APUS is an intensive college level reading and writing course. We will be covering the history of our nation from The Age of Exploration through the Reagan and Bush I Administrations.  In order for you to do well in this course, and on the exam, you will need to do a significant amount of reading and writing outside of the class. Are you prepared to commit the time and effort necessary to be successful?

  If no, why not?

What do you believe will be necessary for you to complete the course either achieving or exceeding your goal?
Are you willing to do what it takes to be successful?
   Explain
