The exam will be taken over 2 days:
  • The essay will be written during the last class before the exam schedule- period 4 on 6/14, period 7 on 6/17
  • The multiple choice portion will be taken during the exam schedule - period 4 on 6/18, period 7 on 6/19

Marking Period 3

3/13
Monday students will be introduced to the Marking Period 3 Common Assessment for AS2. Groups will begin work on the 18th and will have 3 additional class periods to work on it. In assigned groups of 3 or 4, students will be writing and illustrating a children’s book on the Civil Rights Movement on the computer.  On presentation day each group will read their book to the class.  Presentation days are 4/8 for period 4 and 4/9 for period 7.

Students will be taking a common assessment 11/12.  Since this is a document-based assessment they can't study for it but should come to class mentally prepared :)

I'm the Inclusion Consultant working with your child in Mr. Bossio's AS 2 class.  This is a general group e-mail that I set up for Mr. Bossio's class to notify you throughout the year of quizzes, test and projects; please let me know if you would like to be removed from this list.  If your child has Support, their teacher is also a part of the group can can provide follow-up discussions about preparation in Support.  I have also included students on the list.

For your first updats - There will be a WWI Test on 9/27 for period 4 & 9/28 for period 7.  Mr. Bossio has posted the review on his teacher web page; it can be found in the document container for Chapter 20.
