The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is one of the most revered places in Arlington Cemetery.  The tomb contains remains of soldiers from World Wars I and II.  Soldiers guard the tomb twenty four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days a year regardless of the weather.  They are specially trained members of the United States Army's Third Infantry Regiment known as "The Old Guard."
